What must be included in a motion to extend the deadline to file a Texas appellate brief (such as an appellant’s brief, appellee’s brief, or reply brief)?

The motion for extension must state the existing deadline to file the brief, the length of the extension being sought, the facts which are the basis for seeking the extension (i.e., why the extension is justified), and the number of previous extensions which have already been granted for the deadline to file the brief. See Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 10.5(b). A filing fee must generally be paid when filing the motion.
