Which law applies when appeal transferred

If an appeal is transferred from one court of appeals district to another and there is a conflict in the case law of the two courts, does the transferee court apply its own law or the law of the transferring court?

If an appeal is transferred from one court of appeals district to another and there is a conflict in the case law of the two courts, the transferee court must apply the law of the transferring court. See Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 41.3.
