When is the deadline to file an appellant’s brief in Texas?

The deadline to file an appellant’s brief is generally 30 days after the latter of the date that the clerk’s record was filed and the date that the reporter’s record was filed. See Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.6(a). However, in an accelerated appeal, the deadline is generally 20 days after the latter of the date that the clerk’s record was filed and the date that the reporter’s record was filed. See Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.6(a).
